“Yabba dabba doo, we support the boys in blue and it’s easy, eeeeasy!”

No, that’s not Fred Flintstone expressing his support for what the cast of Brookside called “bizzies” but rather the 33 year old battle cry for the Scotland national side, back when they were the only home nation in the 1974 World Cup. It’s looking like the good times are set to roll again, as boy did they pull it out of the hat last night with a 64 minute cracker, courtesy of James McFadden’s sweet feet. We seem to have developed a knack for beating France of late, and that always comes in handy when you’re actually playing them. Here’s to you my bonnie wee boys, here’s to you.

Soak up the sweet stats. 17 goals!
